Production process
The production process of panel furniture should be composed of many links and steps from the preparation of raw materials, woodworking production, paint finishing to final product packaging and warehousing.

The production of panel furniture is not as common people think that only three steps in one cutting, edge banding, punching, the production and processing of the equipment used in the production and processing is nothing more than cutting saws, edge banding machines, row drilling.
Cutting
Sizing is the process of cutting the panels used to make furniture. Due to the relatively simple structure of panel furniture and the high precision of the connectors, the panels can be directly cut to the size of the required parts with a high-precision cutting saw during the cutting process.
The equipment used in sizing is mainly cutting saws. Precision panel saws, which are commonly used in the production of traditional panel furniture, are also often referred to as "sliding table saws" because of their side pushable tables.
The sliding table saw needs workers to operate manually or semi-manually, and each time a plate is processed, the working intensity is larger, the work efficiency is relatively low, and the processing accuracy and safety factor are relatively low.
Another commonly used horizontal precision panel saw can be used for cutting multiple sheets and large panels. It has a large output and high precision, and is often used in large-scale production.
There are two types of advanced cutting equipment:
 Electronic panel saw, also known as "computerized panel saw", is an advanced digital processing equipment, which can be used for cutting a variety of plates.

CNC machining center cutting equipment, CNC machining center can carry out the cutting of the plate with the edge of the curve, and its basic principle is to use the milling cutter to directly mill out the groove with a depth exceeding the plate thickness along the edge of the plate, so as to achieve the purpose of cutting.

Among them, the most widely used is the electronic panel saw. Electronic cutting saws are widely used in processing various plywood, fiberboard, particleboard, ASS board, PVC board, plexiglass board and solid wood board and other structures, and cutting boards with similar hardness.

Wood-based panel veneer
Wood-based panel veneer includes a six-step process from cutting to trimming, which is the front-end process of panel furniture production. The wood-based panels purchased by the furniture factory are all substrates with undecorative surface treatment.

Manufacturers should veneer artificial surfaces according to the requirements of furniture design. There are many types of materials used in veneers, the common ones are melamine-impregnated paper, thin veneer, decorative paper, etc.

The size deviation of the man-made panel after cutting is large, and the veneer at this time will lead to defects such as hollowing on the surface and cannot be used. Therefore, it is necessary to sanding the thickness of the plate before the veneer to make the surface as smooth as possible.

The equipment used for fixed-thickness sanding is a wide belt sander. The high-precision wide belt sander can correct the size of the wood-based panel by grinding off the larger roughness of the surface of the wood-based panel by fixing the thickness, making its thickness more uniform, and at the same time making the surface smoother and cleaner, preparing for the subsequent surface decoration.

After sanding, the substrate needs to be cleaned to remove surface impurities. The treated panels are veneered by the veneer assembly line. The veneer assembly line is composed of a veneer machine, a hot press machine, a cooling machine, etc., which can be semi-automatically completed with manual participation in the process of gluing, veneering, hot pressing, quality inspection, cooling, trimming and so on.
Edge banding
Edge banding is made of strip edge banding materials such as wood strips, thin slats, veneer strips, thin wood strips, melamine resin decorative slats, plastic film PVC strips, ABS strips, pre-painted decorative paper strips, etc., which are glued and pressed on the edge of the board, which is closed around the board. The substrate can be particleboard, MDF, blockboard, double-clad paneling, etc.

Wood-based panel edge banding treatment is an important part of the two processing of wood-based panels, through edge banding, can improve the appearance quality of furniture, avoid furniture in the process of transportation and use of the corner of the damage, veneer layer is lifted or peeled off, at the same time can play a waterproof, closed release of harmful gases and reduce deformation, cracking effect, but also can beautify furniture, happy mood.

There are many types of edge banding materials, and PVC edge banding strips are commonly used in custom furniture cabinets. A common method is to glue the edge banding strip to the side of the panel.

If the side of the plate is a straight structure, it is called a straight edge banding; If the side edge of the plate is a profiled structure, it is called profiled edge banding. If the shape of the plate has a milled shape, post-forming edge banding is required.

Straight edge banding is relatively simple and efficient. Due to the influence of the special-shaped edge banding of the plate, the degree of manual participation is higher and relatively slow. The tools used in the edge banding process are edge banding machines, including straight edge banding machines and special-shaped edge banding machines.

Packing
Panel furniture is mostly flat-packed. The furniture at the time of transportation is a variety of disassembled panels, stacked together and packed into smaller volumes.
